Accessibility Statement
Lesson Console is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone.
Our Commitment
We believe that everyone should be able to manage their music studio effectively, regardless of ability. Lesson Console strives to provide an accessible experience for all users, including those who use assistive technologies.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Our current conformance status is:
Partially Conformant
This means that some parts of the content may not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to improve accessibility across all areas of the platform.
Accessibility Features
We have implemented the following accessibility features:
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements can be accessed and operated using only a keyboard.
Screen Reader Support
Semantic HTML and ARIA labels help screen readers interpret content correctly.
Color Contrast
Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast requirements.
Resizable Text
Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
Focus Indicators
Visible focus indicators show which element is currently selected.
Alternative Text
Images include descriptive alternative text for screen reader users.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, we are aware of some current limitations:
- Calendar View: The drag-and-drop calendar interface may be difficult to use with some assistive technologies. An alternative list view is available.
- PDF Documents: Some uploaded PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We recommend using accessible PDF formats when uploading materials.
- Third-Party Content: Content from integrated third-party services (such as payment forms) may have varying levels of accessibility.
We are actively working to address these limitations and welcome your feedback on areas that need improvement.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
Lesson Console is designed to work with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
- Screen magnification software
- Speech recognition software
- Alternative input devices
We recommend using the latest versions of modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) for the best accessibility experience.
Assessment Approach
We assess the accessibility of Lesson Console through:
- Self-Evaluation: Regular testing using automated accessibility tools
- Manual Testing: Testing with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers
- User Feedback: Incorporating feedback from users who use assistive technologies
